Container Selection
Choosing the right container for your cannabis garden is often an overlooked variable that significantly impacts overall yield and quality of cannabis plantings.
Generally, a minimum of 2 gallons of soil is required for every foot of vertical cannabis growth. For example, a plant that will finish at 5' tall, should be grown in at least a 10 gallon container. Full season outdoor plants are typically grown in containers 50 gallons or larger. For indoor plantings, sizing of the best container is determined by the desired height of the finished plants. The desired height of a finished plant is determined by growing technique and light source.
